State Quarterly Personal Income

Step 1. Select a table by clicking on a table link. This will change options available in Step 2.

Notes:

Quarterly personal income estimates for the fourth quarter 2011 and revisions for NAICS industries for 2008:1-2011:3 were released March 28, 2012. The next quarterly personal income press release is scheduled for June 27, 2012.

Help:

Use the CTRL and/or Shift keys to select multiple areas and years. (In the Local Area Personal Income application mulitple areas are not selectable; select one state and proceed from there, or select the "Single Line" option in Step 1.) Press Display to display your selection in HTML tables, and Download to download a comma-separated-value text file. If you select Download a "Save As" dialog box will appear. It is recommended that you specify an output filename with a CSV extension. Some users will have the option to open the downloaded file directly into a spreadsheet application.
The greater the number of areas and years selected, the slower the request will be. A submission that requests too much information has the possibility of timing out. If you are displaying information, you will want to consider how large your table will be.
Excel 2003 users-- there is a limit of 256 columns in Excel 2003. Tables SQ1 and SQ4 in the SQPI.ZIP download below contain more columns than 256. A suggested workaround is to use the Import Wizard. Open a blank sheet, Select Data / Import External Data / Import Data, then select the CSV file you wish to open. Select Comma as a delimiter, then in step 3 of the wizard, choose several columns you do not wish to import and mark them as "Do not import column (skip)".
